Introducing my New Series ~ Cracks ~What do you think about when I say “Door”. Do you think of your front door? A bright red door with a gold handle as my husband first said?  What if I asked you to think BEYOND the physical part of the door, and asked you METAPHORICALLY about a door?
I’m creating a new series and I am going to let you in to my ‘inner thoughts’, the thought process so to speak (literally looking at my notes and words and sketches I used when forming this idea) that I used to form this concept…..
When I get an idea, its normally at night when I’m laying in bed, that moment right before you drift to sleep when your thoughts seem to almost be dreamlike. Well that is when I first got to thinking about doors. Physically we use them to keep things inside, or keep things outside; the weather, elements, people, animals, privacy, security.
